Much Ado About Nerddom V: A Geeky Variety Show - 2017

After stumbling upon a last minute photo gig for Much Ado last year, I knew that this was something I'd love to be a part of once again. I ran into Dani at the Game of Thrones show last month and asked if there was going to be another Nerddom event this year.

I'm super happy that she remembered the photos from last year and gave me an excited "yes" when I asked to shoot this one too.

Much Ado About Nerddom: A Geeky Variety Show celebrates its 5th birthday this year at the amazing Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse! Not sure what to do with yourself the Wednesday before Con revs up? Well, come on down and let us psyche you up for the insane weekend ahead!
We’ve got burlesque, we’ve got puppetry, we’ve got stand up, we’ve got music, and we’ve got TWO BARS! "

The Dragoncon 2016 Update! (Much Ado About Nerddom IV) – 08/31/2016.

So DragonCon may have ended yesterday (boo), and I wasn't able to make it this year (double boo), but at least I was given the chance to photograph a little something nerdy to make up for it.

(YES...Before you say anything, I'm a little late on this one. Narrowing things down took a little longer than I expected it would. Deal with it.)

Even though I received my last minute invite from Persephone of Hysteria Machines, big thanks for Dani for throwing the whole shindig and letting me hang around for a while snapping photos!

Next year, if you are planning on attending Con proper make sure you take some time out of your busy schedule to check out what Much Ado About Nerddom has to offer!

Week 30 – DragonCon in Black and White – Various Films

50 ROLLS! As of this entry there are 50 rolls that have been shot and shown to all of you. The journey is almost complete...although much earlier than expected. I've already shot next week's entry into this adventure and I believe I have 12 rolls of film left. This should put me up to 42 weeks (10 weeks short of my goal of a year). So what does this mean? Well...if I have the spare pocket money I will try to pick up 10 more rolls and finish 52 weeks of entries. If not, we'll figure something out.

I'd like to take a moment to say a big early THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me and kept up with this blog. Your comments and love has been instrumental to the success I feel about 2015.

But without further ado, DragonCon Mega Update 2, This time in Black and White.

Week 27 – DragonCon 2015 and Team Tank – Cinestill 50D

Ok, so after much deliberation I figured out how to best display all of the photos I took at DragonCon. Instead of subjecting you to 9 weeks of updates for the 9 rolls that went through my camera over Labor Day weekend...I'll condense it into 4 weeks. And since Dragoncon is very much a cosplayer driven convention I'll devote most of October to the photos I took (even though relatively few of them are of people in costume).

2 weeks of updates will be single rolls of film, for the two new ones I tried. Then I will have a "mega update" containing all the color photos, and all the black and white photos.

This entry will cover the second half of the parade from Saturday, and the mini-shoot I did with Team Tank, a wonderful TankGirl cosplay group from here in Atlanta.

And now a few from the TeamTank shoot:
